Cheesetards: What's more expensive, sliced Muenster or sliced Provolone?

Is one clearly more expensive than the other? About the same? What?

I ordered Muenster. I got Muenster. But the deli guy hit the "Provolone" button on the scale, so the sticker said "Provolone," and I was charged the Provolone price for Muenster.

I only got a half a pound, so at worst I might have over-paid (or under-paid) some small amount. I'm just curious.

TIA

I dunno.  I never pay some tard to slice cheese that I'm clearly more than capable of slicing up myself.  All my cheese is in blocks.  But I do believe that Provolone is more expensive.

That's because government cheese doesn't come sliced!

they are about the same in price. you are doing the right thing by buying deli sliced cheese. It's much better quality than those pre-packaged little blocks of shyt cheese they sell to fools for twice the price. it never ceases to amaze me that idiots will pay 3.99 for 8 oz of chedder or jack and think they got a deal.

8.00 a pound for Monterey Jack

I can get all the sliced cheese I want from Krogers and GFS.  Why bother?  I can slice the cheese myself from blocks of cheese purchased cheaper from the same places.

Here, you dropped these:  :mittens:
