I hope it's not a disappointing $12 wheeled shopping bag.
I remember taking my mother to a museum in Whittier.

So, what are you buying? A real estate limiter partnership? Those are good, if managed well and honestly. A nice 4 plex can be had for that, and man does it pay off big when the mortgage goes away.
Assuming you managed and maintained it well.

I'm guessing that Doggo has probably just made a down payment on a 4 plex in the Carolinas - not beachfront or luxury, just the kind regular people LIVE IN.
A good choice. Maintain it well, keep the rents high enough that your tenants WILL REPORT things needing attention, then attend to them. Keeping rents TOO LOW makes tenants FEAR reporting problems, so that's no good for them OR YOU.

Wouldn't the place you're living in just immediately garnish it?

Yup. That's why I would prefer to see Kristina in prison.
