AI Overview
A $450,000 retirement fund will last anywhere from 10 to 30+ years, depending entirely on your annual withdrawal rate, investment returns, and inflation.

You fix that by investing income producing real estate.   Invest in positive cash flow real estate (As you know, 20% will put you in charge of a VAST amount), and KEEP IT UP to it's highest and best use.

By the time you retire, it's all paid off and you live off the profit.

It's that simple, but you need patience.

Invest in meme coins, and finance as much car as you can afford as this will atttract hot chicks and your boss will think you're rich and give you a raise.

False or it depends.

If a married couple has zero debt with a pid off home, a combined social security income of $5,600 plus a $1,600 pension do they need any savings at all if they are not stupid do they need any savings?

Assuming you don't live in a high cost of living area.

If you want to avoid medical costs my advice would be to purchase a Medicare Plan G which covers everything leaving very little out of pocket expenses.

In my state, the cost of living is so low, it says it would comfortably last lifetime.

In most areas of the country $300,000 would be enough if zero debt and a modest mortgage free home with social security/pension of at least $3,000 for a a single person and $4,000 for a couple.

If not stupid a couple would not need the $300,000 to live on it would be for emergencies only.
