Just look at 5,000 years of human history.
All wealthy empires, while rising, were built by racist, sexist, anti-gay patriarchies.
- 90%+ racially homogeneous
- Patriarchy. Other than the occasional female monarch, 99% of the power structure was male and racially homogeneous.
- No legalized gay marriage.
Rising racial diversity, feminism, legalized gay marriage are more correlated with the decline side of empire.
