I feel the stage is set for a true punk rock revival in The United States. Not that Green Day shyt, but real punk rock...

Too many people love their little rules and thinking they are better than everyone else.

No. I never really attended many concerts.

You missed the fun.

The man knew how to handle trifling bitches. Phil could take some notes here:
Picasso has been characterized as a womanizer and a misogynist, being quoted as saying to his longtime partner Françoise Gilot that "women are machines for suffering." He later allegedly told her, "For me there are only two kinds of women: goddesses and doormats."
In her memoir, Picasso, My Grandfather, Marina Picasso writes of his treatment of women, "He submitted them to his animal sexuality, tamed them, bewitched them, ingested them, and crushed them onto his canvas. After he had spent many nights extracting their essence, once they were bled dry, he would dispose of them."

I am sure I did.
My weight was a limitation even back then. But, also, I grew up fairly poor (working / lower middle class) so money for stuff like that was nor forthcoming from my parents. I did work starting at age 13 so I did have spending money but I was more into electronics and cars and projects than events.
In my life I have only been to about 10 concerts:
- Metallica about 4 or 5 times including a small show with Cliff Burton at the Aragon Ballroom
- Barenaked Ladies
- U2
- I feel like it was more than that but that is all that are coming to mind - might have forgotten some due to extreme drug use

The punk shows I went to were local and regional bands. $5 a ticket.

Ah. I see.
Well, that would expand my "concert" going experience quite a bit.
I don't specifically recall seeing any punk bands perform but I went to lots of summer festival and "dive bar" shows. Those were mostly rock bands or cover bands.

A friend of mine would book the shows.

You're 169% okay in my book, even if you like Green Day...

I can see alternative/indie and proto punk merging or devolving into something more raw, like angine de povine but with a singer. Everybody wants live performances now, so that favors punk. The problem with the original punk was in the studio they sounded odd. The polish kills the punk ethos. The music was cool the people were usually weirdos. Straight edge goons.
And if you're not watching the young ones... I had a misfits cover band in my HS/College years.
