A lame duck is still the commander in chief and Congress can do nothing to stop any military commands he gives, unless they can override a veto, not in the short term at least (one year or so).  You agree on this, right?  That's a fact.

Also, he doesn't even have to even show up for impeachment.  He won't be convicted no matter how little he defends himself.  You agree on this, right?  That's an opinion but one that has been so far been very strongly supported by events.

I'd love to be able to make a small gentleman's bet with you.  If Tehran has not surrendered by November, they will face an attack larger than the ones to date.  And they will not be precision attacks anymore.
