If you had children who were about the age that they may soon start having their own children, would you move 700 miles away?

And abandon the chance of spending meaningful and significant quality time with your grandchildren?

This would probably only happen if you were a bad parent to your kids to start with and have a bad relationship as a result.

It was mainly due to the smell.
The kids couldn’t handle it any more.

The sole surviving Japanese soldier, alone in his burned out hell hole on a forgotten island in WW2, is still full of rage that the enemy isn't happy to die for his Emperor.   So, they must die.

The soldier, suffering from flamethrower burns, loads one rifle shell, takes careful aim, fires, and hits a sea shell on the empty beach.

SUCCESS!!!!!  The shell is done.

Keep going, big boy.

They wanted him to move to Ohio.
But they all chipped in but could only afford a U-Haul to Idaho.

That really depends on circumstances. If I had to move for a job, perhaps.

My daughter is going to be 24 next month. She moved to CA last year. I am established here. Own a house, been at the same job for 21 years, etc. I'm not going to uproot and move to CA so I can be there just in case she has kids. That was her choice to move. I'm not going to let her decisions affect my life to that degree.

Wow. Yeah. A bagger with supposed family values putting politics over family.

That's different. She left you not the other way around.

And, at 24, your daughter probably isn't going to have kids for a decade if she follows the general societal trend.
