There was a perfectly good "America 250" organization getting ready for this, but Trump didn't control that, and couldn't redirect the money to Trump businesses.  So he threw together this "Freedom 250" organization, so he and his cronies could skim money from it, and with inadequate leadership, insufficient time, and over-grandiose visions that didn't match the funding, this is what you get.  Conservative podcasters on the main stage, talking to the Secretary of Agriculture!
