We are with family in Incline Village, Nevada and for the end of June the weather sucks!
It's cold and windy with overnight temperatures in the 30's!

We mostly see family because I have no idea how much longer I can do these trips.

Welcome to the Sierras my friend! When I go to Tahoe soon (South Lake), I may wear shorts and a tee shirt for the drive, but long jeans and flannel shirts for when I get there!!!

Now, to drive from BOISE to TAHOE does drive down US Highway 95, also known as the ION highway, constructed after WW2, while they were still setting off nuclear shots in Nevada, where most of the highway is.
Q: Why do they still call it the ION HIGHWAY?
