diversity hire with associates degree gets c suite while you need masters for 20

saw this and it makes sense why every job listing these days has requirements that seem to vanish the second a diversity candidate applies. associates degree from community college gets you straight to c suite at the biggest bank in the world while the rest of us with actual degrees are fighting for entry level scraps that pay less than what the barista makes. the whole system flipped so hard that competence became optional and identity became the main qualification and now we all pretend its normal instead of the obvious grift it is. applications get auto filtered if your background doesnt hit the right checkboxes and then they act shocked when the company starts circling the drain a year later. its almost impressive how openly they admit the double standard without any pushback from the people still playing by the old rules. the guy with the masters and the loans is probably training the new hire who skipped all that because reasons.

Maybe if you had a marketable profession you wouldn't be chronically unemployable. I guess you are stuck in fast food for the rest of your life.

That BS degree allows employers to avoid hiring issues that get them sued, like IQ tests.
That BS degree says you can follow through & complete something, but not much else.
