This takes skillz 'n sheeeit.  In Texas you can have a gun with no license, even if you are from out of state.  Open carry requires no license, even if you are from out of state.  Concealed carry requires no license, even if you are from out of state.  You just have to be 18 and not a prohibited person, which he is.  What's the problem?  Well, apparently if you open carry, your piece has to be in a holster.  That's the only part he fuqed up.  If you carry like a dumb negro, you are in trouble, and he carried like a dumb negro.  I'd say cut the stupid monkey a break.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard James Harden was charged with a misdemeanor of unlawfully carrying a weapon in Houston, ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Saturday, June 13.

Harden was arrested early Saturday morning and taken into custody at 3:41 a.m. as a handgun was observed on Harden's car seat.

The Cavaliers released a statement on Harden's arrest June 13.

"The Cleveland Cavaliers are aware of the arrest of James Harden this morning and are in the process of gathering additional information. We are in contact with James and his representation and will continue to monitor developments as they become available. At this time, we will have no further comment."

The gun was in plain view, according to ESPN, which received the arrest details from Harris County court records.

ESPN reported that Harden was booked at 4:57 a.m. and later released after paying a $100 fine.

Harden helped the Cavaliers reach the Eastern Conference finals this season. The Los Angeles Clippers traded him to the Cavaliers before the 2026 trade deadline.
