Really? So far U.S. drilling activity hasn’t picked up at all, it’s actually down from a year ago.

The US oil well fleet* is operating at a 58% utilization capacity. It doesn't seem to me that drilling more holes in the Earth is a high priority.

Start bombing Iran again and watch Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and the Emirates all burn too. The pipelines bypassing Hormuz are incredibly vulnerable.

That's a very good point. OTOH blasting a power station or transformer farm every time they send a missile or drone South and Iran will quickly lose that capacity. Which is easier to replace, twenty feet of pipe or a power plant?
