Now that Skype is gone, I'm wondering if there are any other competitive services for calling international landlines.

Why can't you just use something like MS Teams?

Im white. I pick up the phone and dial the number.

how much fuqing time do you even spend on the phone these days? I barely answer the phone. If you want something send a text/email. If it's more complicated and requires real discussion I set up a Teams of Google meet.

that's admittedly an edge case - so what's the problem with Google Voice?
