Putin has lost over 35,000 orcs in the last month
The casualty rate for Russian soldiers in Ukraine increased to a new monthly high in March, according to Ukraine’s armed forces. They say drone production enabled a record number of strikes.
Ukraine tallied Russian casualties at 35,351 last month, with drones causing 96 per cent of them while artillery and small arms fire accounted for the rest. That casualty rate was a 29 per cent increase on February, said Ukraine’s commander in chief.
“These are clearly confirmed losses: we have video footage of each such strike in our system,” said Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

Ukrainian officials credit drone production and training for their armed forces’ growing lethality. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskii said the armed forces struck 151,207 targets in March using drones, a 50 per cent increase on February. That’s the result of 11,000 drone sorties a day.
“This is all a historical maximum,” Syrskii said.

The other interesting aspect of this is how utterly fuqing clueless the U.S. military is and how slowly they’ve responded to the drone revolution. Tiny plucky Ukraine has pushed large numbers of highly capable inexpensive drones all the way down to squad level and flies 11,000 sorties a day. The U.S. uses a handful of multimillion dollar drones controlled from halfway around the world.
If the U.S. sends ground troops into Iran they’d better pray to baby Jesus that the IRGC hasn’t been paying attention to what’s happening in Ukraine.

I saw an article yesterday where a Chinese company was using cutting edge mass production/automation to produce their improved version of the Shaheed drone for just over $600 each.
Meanwhile the U.S. is spending on a new multi-billion dollar floating target, the gold plated “Trump class” battleship.
I’m guessing if a thousand of those drones were launched at once, at least a few hundred would penetrate the defenses and sink Trump’s battleship.
