VP_Spiro nailed it. The petrodollar is the REAL story here, not the polls. Kissinger negotiated the deal: Saudi sells oil in dollars, recycles into Treasuries, US provides military protection. That loop is now broken. Iran is literally collecting Bitcoin at Hormuz instead of dollars. The sea lanes are being reopened by Pakistan not the US Navy. Saudi RAISED Arab Light premiums instead of cooperating. The 50 year petrodollar architecture is crumbling in real time and the market STILL has not priced it in. When Treasury demand falls because petrodollars stop recycling, the 10 year yield goes to 5 percent and TLT goes to 78. Gold and BTC are the only hedges that work in that world. This is the biggest macro story of the decade and most people on CI are arguing about salt varieties.

Kosher pastrami and fresh bagels are just better than the stuff you get at the grocery store.
