4. Trump will use a nuclear weapon on Iran.
5. Trump will claim he won. Iran will claim they won. And this all fades to nothing very soon.

Pretty much this. It’s gonna get uglier for at least a few months and the only people who’ll get oil out of Hormuz will be paying tolls and trading in yuan.
Wild card possibility: the billionaire oligarchs arrange for Trump to suffer a sudden fatal illness, giving Peter Thiel’s little catamite J.D. Vance a chance announce “Peace with Honor” and bug the fuq out.
Either way the petro-dollar is fuqing dead.

Iran won't back down, they may become suicidal
Trump will keep pushing until US troops take major causalities
This will justify Nukes, if Iran continues to strike out at neighbors instead of conceding. Or if Iran causes stateside mass casualties. iran, no doubt has thousands of vest/nuke dirty bombs to deploy.
WWII justifies halting communications and elections, and military law.
Right now the drones are flying bombs. Soon they will be land roving human hunting machines.
