I think it's pretty good, but I read some of the Tony Hillerman books the characters are from.  The shows may be based on some of the books I hadn't read.  There's some Navajo spiritualism in the show, but it's a little like Scooby Doo - there's usually some human element behind the ghost/spirit they're chasing.  The actors are pretty good, and they have some decent guests doing season long appearances.  I haven't started watching the current season yet; we're binging some other stuff right now.
