(NewsNation) — The Department of Justice released over 3.5 million pages of documents related to the convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, many of which were heavily redacted. NewsNation found a 338-page document that is fully redacted, minus the file number.
NewsNation specifically asked the Justice Department why the pages were redacted. The department responded with links to the Epstein Transparency Act and did not address our questions.
In a follow-up to the department’s response, NewsNation inquired whether these documents were redacted to protect accusers, but received no response.
