The system IS that evil. This is the time change weekend that "springs forward", meaning it's one hour shorter. On the other side, the weekend that "falls back" is one hour longer and thus ALWAYS goes to the female.
These hours were - and still are - put into the calculations as to how much child support is paid to the female. It's seemingly petty, but it's ALWAYS applied and results in MORE MONEY paid to the female. One of many little evils in the process.
Yes, its another instance of FIGHTING EVIL, but in this case it was futile. The judge, the court, the advocates are all female and act accordingly.
