NOT too cold - 43 degrees right here right now - and a steady rain. From 1/4 to 3/4" predicted. Getting the garden beds nice and moist, just the way they're supposed to be! The compost is still "sleeping" under the mulch, cooking up rich spring soil!
Yes, I already have seed starter cups ready, so I can begin indoors at any time! Lettuce will be a good first crop. In the kitchen, under the skylights, I can hear that life giving rain coming right down!

As the day progresses here in paradise, the wife has come home from her class, bringing me a treat to eat! NOW, we have decided that one of my favorite specialties will be for dinner tonight: Ton Katsu! Yum, Yum.
Don't try this in Illinois: It's made with pork and must be CORRECTLY COOKED! Skills not evident there.
