Man, 73, accused of trying to buy 10-month-old girl at an auction house
A 73-year-old man in Louisiana is accused of trying to buy a 10-month-old girl at an auction house.
The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Howell Gene Penton after they say he solicited a woman at the Angie Auction House to purchase her infant daughter.
Investigators conducted an undercover operation on Saturday and took Penton into custody without incident.
