Maxwell was convicted in late 2022. The files were locked up until that conviction.
Biden’s Attorney General Garland was a massive pussy who didn’t want to appear impartial or “political”. So he held them, because he didn’t think Trump would win.

In July, Trump admin suddenly claimed there was no Epstein client list, and tried to close the Epstein case.
This was a huge strategic mistake, as it reeked of a coverup.
The better chess move would have been for Trump to just say that the FBI was still working on the Epstein case, and delay, delay, delay. The Qanon tards would spread wild conspiracy theories about how Trump / Kash / Bondi were chasing down the pedos around the world, and make Trump look like a hero. Then a few days before the end of his presidency, Trump & Bondi could just close the case, and fly off to Israel.
Trump fuqed up, and now he's going to pay the price.
