Because poor people should be given toothpaste.

Since they aren’t then we shouldn’t punish anybody for stealing it.

Sure, let's have gubment toofpaste like gubment cheese. Toothpaste used to come in tubs, you know. A stiff, unappealing mix that you had to loosen with water. Let's have that. An unflavored basic medicinal preparation of gunk and fluoride that'll keep teeth as healthy as the store-bought stuff.

Each of the poor can be given their own tub, to be refilled on request at the local commissary.

So everyone gets free toothpaste. The poor are happy. Sockpuppet is happy. Everyone's happy.

Or... we could just make theft legal then they can have the fancy shyt in a tube. I'm pretty edgy.

Because Baggers have defunded every possible social service for people with mental and drug problems so they can keep feeding their for-profit prison system. THAT'S WHY.

You think it is insane to give me $4 a month for toothpaste so they can enjoy lifelong oral health?

There is a long, global history of understanding that theft is sometimes acceptable.

There is no reason to punish people for not being able to afford toothpaste. Just give them the $4 a month for a tube.

Correct. When you treat people like animals they begin to act like animals.

They can't afford toothpaste because they are "poor".  They can't afford food because they are "poor".

But they always have plenty of money for liquor, cigarettes and drugs.

This stupidity is why asshole Republicans keep getting elected.

Oral health - like everything else - is largely determined by genetics.  Aren't you the guy says exercise has no impact on weight?

Oral health, to an extent, is definitely determined by genetics. No question there. But most people will have a tendency to either have gum problems or tooth problems. Very few people can get away unscathed without regular brushing.

As for exercise, it isn't very effective in helping lose weight. It is effective for improving general health, however. But not by nearly as much as people think.

Fuq that. They'll be given what they need directly. It will keep them alive and healthy. The rest is up to them.
