Since it seems that you don't like any place you have tried to live in have you ever considered the possibility that your problem lies between your own ears?

I disagree.

The good news is that we're going to annex Canada as our 51st state, so you'll be an American soon.

For once, you actually right - it is the worst of Europe and the US. That's a very apt description. It's decadent and unserious like Europe, with absolutely no charm or aesthetic value. Conversely, it has all the worst of the States - chain stores, bland architecture, and car dependency, while working overtime to suicide its old stock with brown immigrants.
What other countries have you tried to live in?

Canada isn't a real country.
Their head of state is the King of England.
And there is no innovation coming out of Canada.
All the significant Canadian tech companies have died (Nortel, RIM / Blackberry) or are nearly dead (Bombardier)
Their economy is now based on selling natural resources & real estate.
Canadians are basically useless eaters sitting on top of valuable real estate.
If we just took their land, and exterminated all the Canadians, nobody would care or notice.

I quite like Britain and the Netherlands; I just don't qualify for a visa because I'm too much of a failure.
I love British culture and just feel at home here. Everyone is so nice! I love digging out the local history.
I appreciate how well-run the Netherlands is. (E.g. they don't have to add chlorine to tap water because they simply fixed all the leaks in the distribution system!) Everything is run in the smartest way it could be, except the neo-liberal approach to homebuilding has been a failure.
Though, I agree; ultimately the problem does lie with me, even if is also true that Canada is a shyt country.

This is all quite true, except the head of state is the King of Canada, who happens to also be the king of the UK.
But we used to have some good innovations--such as the invention of the telephone or the discovery of insulin.
Our disease is similar to that which Britain suffers (high cost of living, low salaries, low productivity growth through innovation).
I would personally love to be killed, though I'm opposed to killing others without their consent.

I shouldn't say this, but both my parents support this, as do I, though I suggest a Compact of Free Association as a first step instead.

All this. Also the people of Canada are terrible--reserved and petty.
I have lived in the UK, Australia, the Netherlands and I attempted to live in New Zealand but got too depressed.

You liked the UK? It always felt a bit off to me, sort of like a fossilized theme park desperately clinging to memories of how it used to be actually relevant.
According to my parents who lived there in the '60s for a while it was a much nicer and more interesting place back then.
Right now, I'm living in Munich - it's quite pleasant although the incredibly slowness of all official processes is a significant annoyance and German is an over complicated nightmare..

Have you spent any time in Berlin? It's nice as well, but very different from Munchen.
Why do you think that of German? Aside from the silly gendering of nouns, the structure is straight forward (for a native English speaker).

I honestly like Berlin - it has that underlying edge of craziness that Munich really lacks. I don't really know why I'm having problems with German - grammatically it's sort of like Latin, but with less cases, but I seem to have a lot of problems internalizing the rules. Could just be because I'm old and learning anything is getting harder I guess.
I should try and speak German more often, aber ich schäme mich für mein schreckliches Deutsch.
Oh, and that "reflexives have to be specifically included pretty much all the time" is a bit weird too.

Canada used to have a major film studio (Lionsgate), but they moved their headquarters to Los Angeles.
Canada is a failed state.

I'd be happy to spend a month on holiday in Berlin. So many museums.
