Oh really? Try customizing items beyond a few simple things. For example, a sausage mcmuffin, "well done".
Also if you take too long, it erases your cart on Android.
You shouldn't be doing that. I like the UI. Lots of whitespace.

Original_Lonely_GuyWhy use Python when you can use C in place of script?

You can't ask for special sauce on a hamburger either. I am pretty sure this is all business logic by choice.
I've never heard of a sausage mcmuffin well done anyway. I bet that makes them mad because it changes the flow a lot more than just adding or deleting already available ingredients.

That's the problem with old lead pipes, they're brain dead. Heekee could make a lot more money, scrap pile.

I learned about "well done" when someone else ordered it that way and I received the order instead. It was printed on the label so you can tell internally it is an option in their system.
If you've ever had a mcmuffin and felt that the sausage wasn't cooked enough or the muffin wasnt toasted enough? If so, this puts an end to that.
You can order it that way in person and they don't bat an eye.
The fact that you can't do it on their UI is a) shytty programming and of course b) Spanky level blame the user.. "you shouldn't be doing that."
They do NOT have good programmers. They have bad programmers that other bad programmers think are good.

At scale, cost of energy consumption becomes an issue. Python is one of the least efficient languages/runtimes

C is bloatware. I just manually etch 1s and 0s onto drive platters

yes business decision. Each customization adds time, and these shyt customers are the most likely to complain
I said "kinda" well done - you made it too well done!

You can do it without the app, dipshyt.
The app is inferior and flawed.

yes - per the original discussion, there's a reason they don't make that available in the app
