For the J6 rioters I would say at minimum the loss of a finger.  For moderate severity the loss of an arm or leg.  For the really severe ones, the loss of both legs.  Let this be optional though.  Let them choose.  Either this or the normal prison sentence.

For assholes that want to take our Constitutional rights away, I would agree to life in prison.  Possibly even the death penalty.

Already being done with institutionalized prison rape, long term isolation with zero human contact, sanctioned inmate murders that go uninvestigated, and sleep deprevation.   All regular features of our prison system.

No.  I specified no free treatment.  He would be fully dependent on others. Actually this would probably be a fate far more cruel for most people but it is possible for some it would not be so.

But either way, again, it would be entirely his choice.  And I think this part is important.  Otherwise it really does become more cruel and barbaric.  Basically this is just a way to still dispense justice and consequences without relying on prison.
