I did feel a little bad rooting against the team of my many Packer fan friends and acquaintances.  No one made him put all that shyt into the world.  If you're not in the world of politics, and don't want to be judged based on your political views, you don't need to put them out into the world.  No one canceled him.  He wasn't fired.  If he decides he still wants to play football next year, I'm sure there will be at least a half-dozen teams competing for his services.

Edited to add:  Threatening to boycott the Super Bowl is sheer dumbassery.
