Too many of them.  If a MD or prominent person says it they are immediately deplatformed and reported to the medical boards.  Individuals are too hard to police that way, and they really don't have an audience the leftists want to protect.

And as far as FDA approval goes, I've mentioned before that I had a girlfriend years ago who worked for a couple of German and Swiss pharma giants. She started out in the labs (I got her to switch to sales because she was good-looking and exposure to those labs is probably not a good idea for a young woman who wants to have kids Smith.) She used to mention the pressure they were under to get the results the suits needed to get FDA approval and send new drugs to market.

Of course, drugs sometimes get recalled because years later evidence accumulates that there are seriously bad side effects to them.

And there are side effects to all drugs. Over the years, I've said to several doctors that I've rarely gone to doctors and have even more rarely taken drugs, prescription drugs or OTC. They have invariably said, "Good."

To me, taking drugs is a last resort.

A lot of times the drugs cause more problems than what they are 'treating' but it is all the doctors know because it is all they are taught in school, and all they are authorized to do in practice.  They are mostly pill pushers at the primary care level.

As for the FDA, they use the best science available to approve drugs, but the pressure on them to approve drugs is high. On the other hand, they also wouldn't hesitate to suspend approval if that was reasonable. They did it with J&J to investigate clots. They recently pulled two other Covid treatments when it was clear they didn't work with omicron.

It's always a risk, especially since you acknowledge the pressure they're under, the FDA to approve, and the CDC to promote.

The CDC is not under pressure to promote, they are looking at public health matters. Public health is all about people doing things that cause them to stay healthier. There are many examples -- having kids wear shoes, having women space out childbirth by 2 years, wearing seatbelts in cars, adding vitamins to rice and pasta...

As for measuring pros and cons, with Covid its pretty easy since 2% of the people who get it die, and it easily transmits between people. As the US Supreme Court said, your liberty does not extend to endangering others.

And we know that any drug has risks, and the risks are different with different people.

You admit that some people are harmed by the vaccines.

Neither you nor the CDC have a crystal ball and can tell us what we're going to know years from now.

Haven't the big pharma companies been granted some sort of immunity from suit with regard to covid vaccine injury?
