I found it buried on his friends Facebook. His mother replied to a post asking if anyone had heard from him:

Louise Kelly -> Diane Pop Cooper: this is his Mum. Dean passed away tragically on Monday June 15. Unfortunately, it was me who found him. His sister karen & I, are devastated. We will be holding a simple "Celebration of Life: for him on Saturday. It will be at 10:30 AM, at Morley Bedford Funeral Services, 159 Eglinton Ave.West, Toronto - 416-489-8733

If she "found him" it sounds like a heart attack or suicide.

I stand by what I said. Anytime a dot does something interesting, your first instinct is to claim credit. I would not be surprised at all if you are already claiming credit for finding the Facebook pages on other boards.

I saw him on Tinychat a few years ago. He looked like he was around 60. Probably a heart attack. He didn't seem like the type of guy who would an hero.

If you have his name and death date, surely there are some sort of records you can research that will say how he died? But by his mom's post, it sounds like it was unexpected, so not cancer or gribs.
