93% of US COVID deaths occurred in people 50 or older. Why did we have to shut down all of society for that?

Seems to me we could have let the 40's and under work like normal and redouble our efforts on the 50+ crowd.

Too bad liberals were on their "snitch train" and demanded that everyone be locked in their hovel and no one should make money.

It was a hell of a parting shot from the boomerqunts.

For those of us who saw through it from the beginning, it was a salutary reminder that human stupidity has no limits.

Covid denial reveals a lack of empathy. If you can't imagine how a younger person might convey covid to an older person, it reveals a lot about your outlook.

To be fair to past us...

Covid was a novel virus at the time and we didn't really know what we were up against.  One thing we did know at the time was that the hysteria was OUT OF CONTROL and there was no serious effort to counteract that hysteria.

The lesson the smart people take from this is that we should be less hysterical.

No denial here.  COVID was an extremely infectious novel airborne virus.  Effectively, everyone got the disease.  Society lock down or no.

I am just thankful we didnt close our borders to keep the disease out.

Diversity was definitely our strength.

Let’s see who was president when this happened and lead the utterly retarded response to COVID which only helped get more people sick?

I dunno? Total mystery.

So isolate those among the fuqing old who are vulnerable (if they want to be isolated, that is) and let the young get on with life. Duh.

By summer 2020 it should have been obvious we weren't dealing with Marburg 2.0 and ALL restrictions should have ended at that point.

Walz literally set up a "Snitch Line" so you could rat out neighbors who weren't wearing masks, knowingly didn't get the "vaccine" , etc.

And Trump is a fascist ?

The older person should have ZERO to worry about if they're "vaccinated" , right?

Excrement.

People like Malone , Peter McCullough and the like sounded the alarm early.

They were painted as spreaders of misinformation and there were attempts at having their licenses taken away.

The fortunate truth: They were right.  Fauci was wrong.  Dead wrong.

Trump was president when the country shut down.  His shutdown, his vaccine, his responsibility.

Democratic run blue states and municipalities shut down by their leaders, not Trump. Did your parents have the decency to let you know you are retarded?

Sorry little timmy. We're just not going to educate you for two years.  I'm sure there will be no repercussions from this.
