In the Southwest the only reason certain swatches of blue appear large is these are very very large county boundaries. Counties larger than east coast states. Each large blue county contains a sanctuary city that skews the otherwise-red vote to reflect a city within the county.

I worked on a project in Washington state in a county that turned out to be enormous. Can’t remember the name. It was absurd to expect the county to monitor some projects extremely far from the county seat (or sanctuary city) several hours away. If a county inspection was typically required it never happened out there, no manpower to spend all day driving to inspect some shytty mechanical detail.

There is no such thing as a swing state.

Just rogue sanctuary cities cramming in density as heavy as possible to skew the entire otherwise normal rational state.

When will we go back to the principle "One Acre, One Vote" espoused by the Founding Fathers?

Imagine a large area with 1 person in it. That person votes red.

Imagine an area 1/100th the size with 100 people in it. Those people all vote blue.

Combined, do those areas vote 100:1 blue or 100:1 red?
