So I had to go to a Burger King in NoVa this week. No workers spoke English.

They had “cashiers” standing there but with touchscreens facing the customer to do the order themselves. Then the foreigner had to read back the summary of the order in very broken English to make sure it was correct, even though the customer had composed the order & reviewed. Payment was by card, the worthless cashier pointed to the little cc scanner for the customer to do the obvious. Then these useless cashiers got bizzy putting the food into the bag and then calling out the order number in broken English.

I had one mishap, I tried to peruse the burger category on the touchscreen, but accidentally added an Impossible Burger to the order. With no obvious way to remove that monstrosity I had to cancel the entire order and start over. No big deal, it was a small order for 2 people (1 chicken fries and 1 fish sandwich).

It worked well and I see no reason why the foreign workers facing the public were needed at all. It could easily be a contact free transaction.

Remember 10 years ago when the touch screen with little photos of each food were pictured but the person on the other side of the counter had to push each pic after hearing you speak? That relied on the person hearing correctly, understanding the meaning, and touching the correct pic.

There was no lettuce on my fish sandwich. It was fine. I don’t eat fast food and the fish sandwich seemed to be the least offensive thing there.

I could even put the items in a bag myself to further eliminate the need for worthless laborers.

Why do you want a bag? Why do you hate the environment?

The employees standing there understanding nothing reminded me of the trend in the 1990s for grocery stores to charity-hire Down syndrome retards to bag groceries. They’ve stopped that/ wasn’t the cute flex they thought.

The blue hair and nose ring tells they are a libtard, not a Downsie.

WE still do it here in BOISE.   Here, we CARE about our fellow human beings.

Unlike Democrats.

With 115 million working age Americans “not in labor force” businesses like Burger King are forced to hire anyone willing to work who can show up on time most days.

People who eat at fast food chain restaurants (like Burger King) are stupid NPCs who deserve to die from explosive diarrhea.
