My pear trees are 6 years old.
They already produced about 5 dozens pears this year.
Some were small, some medium, about a dozen very large.
I still have 4 pears left on the tree.
Strangely, it says that pears arent normally ripe until end of August, start of September.
But, it has started flowering again so maybe I will get more around that time?

I have a pair of pear trees, I pare then back after each pear season.

Yeah, always 2 trees of different species for pollination.
One is ornamental.
I do have another pineapple growing this year too.
