I’ve never been on a proper cruise, and I have no intention of ever doing so.

However, I have been on numerous French, Norwegian and Scottish overnight ferries. That’s quite enough.
Oh, and I also did the Skagway, AK “state ferry” down to Seattle once.

It's not that I hated it.  I liked seeing Freeport and Nassau.  But it just wasn't interesting enough to be on the ship for that period of time.  The ship was boring.  I'd rather be at the Renasissance Faire, or just a damn county fair than that.

Wife and I went on three cruises last year. Our favorite are the Viking Cruises, though admittedly it's disappointing that we don't get to sack any cities.

Ours was to the Bahamas as well. 

I found it boring and very low class. 

I would never go to a fair either for the same reason.
