What does it do to the algorithm when it takes three tries?

There was no actual test.

It was just gathering data.

There have been a few times where I knew for 100% certainty I got it right, but the CAPTCHA made me do it again.

And there have been a few times where I was pretty sure I fuqed it up, but the CAPTCHA still said I was successful.

So many of these CAPTCHA test might actually be an illusion, and all they're doing is gathering free data to train AI models.

Perhaps, except Ai models don't needs millions of iterations of selecting busses to learn to select busses. So the infrastructure to enable this data harvesting is a vast expenditure that would outweigh any real benefit.

More likely to have game platforms and other services mask bitcoin spooling locally to benefit the host.

Uh, they most certainly do.
