Tom LiekisEnough is enough with Iran.
I have been studying this situation very closely from my command center here in Boise, which consists of my recliner, Fox News, a properly maintained Coleman lantern, and a cat on my lap who frankly has more strategic sense than most of Washington.
Here is what needs to happen.
We need to be TOUGH. Not “committee tough.” Not “State Department tough.” I mean brutal, overwhelming, unmistakable strength. The kind of strength I have always supported, except during the one war where I personally would have had to participate, which was different because I had educational opportunities in Canada and people forget that.
Iran only understands power. That does not mean I am saying we should rush into anything stupid. I am saying we should immediately do something decisive, but only after someone else figures out what that is and sends young people who are not me to do it.
And don’t tell me we “can’t afford it.” We can afford plenty when it matters. I just saved $18 buying a Temu emergency radio that is every bit as good as the military-grade units, so clearly I understand procurement better than the Pentagon.
The problem with this country is weakness. Weak leaders. Weak men. Weak coffee made with burr grinders by San Francisco types who think foreign policy is a pour-over. When I grind my beans with a blade grinder, I get RESULTS. Same principle applies here.
I’m not saying turn Tehran into a parking lot. I am saying we should have the courage, discipline, and moral clarity to turn Tehran into a parking lot if that is what becomes necessary, and then calmly explain afterward that they forced us to be reasonable.
And before Spanky starts flapping his gums, yes, I support the troops. Always have. I have a trauma kit on my belt and I was practically NERT until politics got involved.
This is not complicated.
Peace through strength.
Strength through resolve.
Resolve through experience.
Experience through decades of watching other people fight wars on television.

General AtomicsIran is an economic basket case. They're barely ahead of Syria in terms of GDP per capita in the ME. We should use our strategic bombers to saturate their cities with leaflets and cheap satellite phones so that the citizens can provide us with targeting data on the IRGC.

Tom, you idiot! Spanky is not pretending to be you, he's asking you a question! Has all the booze and chemo so totally rotted your brain that you can't tell the difference?? You're done, son.
