Well how is the current way working out for you? Been to a grocery store lately? Or a gas station? Shytty pizza and a soda which used to sell for $2.50 4 years ago is now $8.

Yeah. Pre COVID I used to occasionally get chicken thighs, pork loin and Nally's chili for $0.99lb/can. Now the lower boundry seems to be stuck at $1.79.
