Looking for a Senior Data Center Operations (DCOPS) Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of the physical infrastructure and high-performance network fabric that powers our industry-leading platform. 1. Infrastructure & Network Architecture Strategy

● Design and evolve data center network architecture (L2/L3, segmentation, redundancy models)
● Define standards for VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and firewall policies
● Architect for fault tolerance, and scalability
● Research and evaluate emerging technologies in switching, firewalling, and Data Center Interconnect (DCI) to maintain a competitive edge.

2. Network Fabric Management & Optimization

● Own configuration and lifecycle of switches and firewalls
● Lead complex network changes and migrations with minimal downtime
● Troubleshoot and resolve advanced L1–L3 issues (latency, packet loss, asymmetric routing)
● Optimize network performance and resiliency

3. NetDevOps & Automation Engineering

● Drive network and infrastructure automation (Ansible, Python, APIs)
● Implement Infrastructure as Code for network configurations
● Build self-service capabilities for VLANs, IPs, and firewall rules
● Reduce manual operations and improve consistency through automation

4. Operational Excellence & Technical Leadership

● Oversee hardware lifecycle (procurement → deployment → decommissioning)
● Define and enforce operational standards and runbooks
● Lead major incident response for infrastructure outages
● Mentor junior engineers and drive operational excellence

5. Reliability, Capacity & Performance

● Own availability and performance SLAs for infrastructure
● Lead capacity planning (network bandwidth, power, rack space)
● Proactively identify and mitigate failure risks
● Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive systemic improvements

6. Security & Compliance

● Design and enforce network security architecture
● Own firewall strategy and segmentation models
● Support compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
● Ensure auditability and traceability of infrastructure changes

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Partner with DevOps / Engineering to enable platform requirements
● Define clear interfaces for infrastructure consumption (VLANs, IPs, connectivity)
● Participate in joint incident resolution across infra and platform layers
● Align infrastructure capabilities with business and engineering needs Required / Preferred Qualifications
● 7+ years of experience in data center operations, network engineering, or infrastructure engineering
● Deep expertise in networking (TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, routing, switching)
● Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade switches and firewalls
● Strong experience troubleshooting complex network and hardware issues
● Experience designing highly available and scalable network architectures
● Experience with NetDevOps / network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs)
● Understanding of Kubernetes networking and overlay/underlay models
● Experience with observability and telemetry systems
