A series of shootings, including at a Circle K and an apartment complex, and other violence in Scottsdale have led to the arrests of five men, including one injured in a police shooting, according to authorities.

According to Scottsdale police, these are the individuals arrested and what charges they were booked on:

    Fredrion Lleon Arnes Thomas, 20 ― misconduct involving weapons as a prohibited possessor, discharge of a firearm at a nonresidential structure, discharge of a firearm within city limits and disorderly conduct involving a weapon.
    Quassan Marcus Cunningham, 29 ― aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree criminal trespass and failure to obey a police officer.
    Ba’nari Douglas-Clay, 21 ― misconduct involving weapons for possession of a firearm by a prohibited possessor.
    Christian Santiago Grant, 20 ― aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage and resisting arrest.
    Brandon Lamont Robert Warfield Jr., 20 ― aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and first-degree criminal trespass.

At about 2 a.m. May 6, multiple 911 calls came in about shots fired at the Circle K convenience store near Camelback and Miller roads, according to police.

Multiple rounds were fired with several hitting the convenience store and surrounding areas, officers who arrived at the scene confirmed, police said.

As officers were at the scene, more gunfire broke out near an apartment complex east of the Circle K shooting, according to police. An investigation and search led to the initial arrests, according to police.

Warfield sustained injuries that were not life-threatening in a police shooting after he was located near East Hazelwood before his arrest and hospitalization, police said.

Arnes Thomas was arrested by officers at apartments on Camelback near 78th Street, according to police. Cunningham was arrested May 6 after he was found near the crime scene, police said. A follow-up investigation led to the May 7 arrest of Douglas-Clay in Tempe, police added.

The aggravated assault charges against Cunningham and Grant came May 8 following further investigation and a search warrant, according to police.

Firearms evidence, surveillance footage, witness statements and forensic evidence linking the suspects to the shootings were collected in the investigation, police said.

"Our officers, detectives, and professional staff responded to an incredibly chaotic and dangerous incident with professionalism, courage, and urgency," said Scottsdale Police Chief Joe LeDuc in a statement. "If you come into Scottsdale and commit violent crimes, you will be pursued and brought to justice. We will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our city."

It was not immediately clear where any of the suspects reside.
