Looking at the black population map, you'll want to avoid the west side of Dayton.
Downtown might also be blacked.

I never got into that, probably because computer BBSes started to become a big thing everywhere in 1982 or so which is exactly when I stared computing. I expect Spanky would say the same thing. That's exactly the sort of thing that would appeal to people like us, but something better, easier, and cheaper came along that could also play Star Raiders and Ultima ][.
