The SCOTUS can change and decide differently in the future.  I'm not anti-gun.  I own several and carry one 95% of the time.  But I don't agree that every mentally ill alcoholic idiot should be able to carry around an automatic weapon all over.

Sure, but nobody is going to actually give a fuq if the legislature makes any anti-gun laws after 10 years of the vast rollback of state and federal gun laws.  That era has already started and will go into overdrive in 2 years, maximum, when SCOTUS finds that AR-15s and high capacity magazines are protected and that totally fuqs gun control tards emotionally at every level of society.  So we set this into concrete societally and then the law angle doesn't fuqing matter anymore.  There is a huge amount of federal law already completely ignored, often with the state authorities themselves leading the charge.  Making sure nobody obeys new firearms laws coming down from Washington in the future is going to be pretty damn easy, especially once 3D printers double and redouble their capability in that time.
