Why should everyone be entitled to a house with a pool (and your other stuff) for an entry level job?

Housing, clothing, food, personal care, transportation, medical care, entertainment, and a bit left over for savings.

None of it needs to be fancy. But it shouldn't be squalor either.

A living wage is whatever number makes the person asking feel morally superior. In Chicago? MIT Living Wage Calculator says $22.17/hr for a single adult, $46.41/hr for 1 adult + 1 child. Federal minimum is still $7.25. The gap between "living" and "minimum" is where all the outrage lives. But nobodys burning down warehouses over a spreadsheet — theyre burning them down because they FEEL broke, and feelings dont have a dollar amount.
