Guitar Update: Stock shifting, prices up!

Those that can market Strat-style guitars in Europe are shifting Western stock to the region, resulting in prices and stock lows for US markets.
Shipments of Europe's stock of unlicensed Strat-style guitars that can still be sold in US markets haven't arrived yet.

Waiting for the hammer to fall on Telecaster designs and then Gibson’s portfolio of iconic designs. The currently flooded 'offset' style guitar market will be left with a glut facing competition from premium Euro brands that need to be moved.

I was hoping a boutique market for craft guitars would start to be viable, but the quality and price of imports is so high that it's hard to compete.

Re: Guitar Update: Stock shifting, prices up!

I had thought the US market would flood with Strat style guitars forcings sales, but instead, the sales are only on the lower end models, and the tail end of the offset revival. Because now they have a monopoly in Europe for Strats. The lower end models are on sale because they're already warehoused and not worth reshipping.

Ahaha! This aged very well as Fender has issued blanket legal notices over their Stratocaster guitar designs in the EU, and all the guitar fags are mad at them for defending their copyright. crybaby
