Adobe Creative Cloud has sold 41 million licenses.
I wonder how many of them are at full price?

Indian CEO is almost always a death sentence for a company. Indians are incapable of making tough decisions. They only want to make everybody happy with them. They avoid any form of difficulty or conflict which means their companies and products become toxic shyt holes devoid of a clear purpose or strategy. Adobe is a perfect example. Their products are a fuqing mess. There is no clear cohesion between them. They’re riddled with bugs and security problems. All they care about is charging you more for less.

You sound like a low performer.
Your view is so stereotypical that it is almost comical.
While people from India, culturally, have good manners and are polite, I can assure you that they can be very decisive, strategic leaders.

That’s what white men did until 1990.
And that is what you want to go back to because you, a low performer, can’t compete otherwise.

Kind of like women CEOs. Never have any balls to stand up to the people that need it so bullies get their way with the company.

That's it. Put a negative label on someone you know nothing about. Even high performers are able to make these statements so your point is moot. It's weak that you have to resort to this fallacy in logic.

I worked for 3 different Indian leaders. All 3 were terrible. Honestly, I'd rather have a woman or a homo as a boss than an Indian. Indians are not decisive at all.

March 13 (Reuters) - Adobe said on Friday it will pay $75 million to resolve a U.S. government lawsuit accusing the Photoshop and Acrobat maker of harming consumers by concealing hefty termination fees and making it difficult to cancel subscriptions.
In a June 2024 complaint, the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission accused Adobe of burying termination fees for its popular "annual paid monthly" subscription plan, sometimes reaching hundreds of dollars, in the fine print or behind text boxes and hyperlinks.
They also said Adobe made cancelling subscriptions a hassle, forcing subscribers who wanted to cancel online to wade through numerous pages, and subscribers who wanted to cancel by phone to repeat themselves to multiple representatives and encounter "resistance and delay."
Adobe was accused of violating the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, a 2010 law barring merchants from imposing charges, including for automatic subscription renewals, without disclosing material terms clearly and obtaining customer consent.

They're decisive in enshytifying American corporations.
I met the Adobe CEO when he started. Looking at current photos of the same dude, he looks like he was run into the ground.
Other than jacking up subscription prices & infesting Adobe with Wogs, what has he done?

They are decisive... at lining their own pockets & hiring their own kind (to help line the CEO's pockets).

Adobe was undercutting their distributors, which is a no-no.

Apple is going to put pressure on Adobe with their Creative Studio.
If Apple could throw in a Illustrator clone & resurrect Aperture, they'd have Creative Studio.

They were able to buy Mac-only applications that used machine learning for image editing. Close enough for a photoshop clone.

SamplesBoiThis guy managed to wring top dollar out of selling digital finger painting applications. I think he was a business genius. Like Apple, he realized the company's customers were morons willing to pay top dollar for shiny but sub-par tools. Why not take their money? I've never paid them a cent.

they also jumped the shark on pretty much everything they do. Insane subscription fees on services that have now been replicated - oh and btw - you don't even own your on creative works and we can use them to train AI. Good luck with that. Their only moat is people who don't want to learn a new software, but how long will that last...

No. A high performer doesn't face these issues by definition.

Why would you want that?
It was $15000 every few years for Photoshop alone.
Now you get EVERY SINGLE Adobe app for $60 a month and always have the latest features.
Let's say you upgrade ever four years perpetual at $1500 a pop. After, eight years, just before your third renewal, you have spent $3000 and have a four year old product. You are about to spend another $1500 which will bring your total to $4500. For one app.
For a small premium, $5760 vs. $4500, you can have all the apps all with the latest features for all eight years.
It's a no-brainer financially.

Thy moved to subs to quell piracy, but it turned out that business like subs, as they can write off that cost immediately as a "service".
Subs appeal to two tiers; the professional with active billig that can offset the deducted service costs, and beginners who buy into the lifestyle branding and hopes of quick success @$22 a month + Social and templates and a dream.
And Dancing according to apple.
