As long as Norris finishes third or higher he will be champion. If he dropped to fourth and Verstappen won the race, then Verstappen would win the championship.

Piastri can still win the championship, but some outlier things have to happen.

The sad thing after qualifying today was to see Lewis Hamilton. He was out in Q1 for the third race in a row. He will start 16th tomorrow. In the post-qualifying interview, he was painfully dejected. He was just short of crying and could only answer questions with nods.

I always wondered if Ferrari would be a good fit for him. That's a very different culture.

I wonder if he will announce his retirement.
