Surprisingly David Brooks gave an excellent explanation last night on PBS newshour why this shutdown is the Democrats fault. When Dems won in 2020 they hiked ACA coverage & other spending in a multi TRILLION dollar bill & the GOP had to go along with it. Now the shoe is on the other foot & the Dems don't want to go along with it! The bottom line is elections have CONSEQUENCES!
