How do you feel about Trump and Bondi's new "de-naturalization" directive? It says that if you are convicted of a crime, your citizenship can be revoked and you can be deported like any other non-citizen.

Trump’s justice department issues directive to strip naturalized Americans of citizenship for criminal offenses. Memo says those subjected to civil proceedings are not entitled to an attorney like they are in criminal cases.
The Trump administration has codified its efforts to strip some Americans of their US citizenship in a recently published justice department memo that directs attorneys to prioritize denaturalization for naturalized citizens who commit certain crimes.
The memo, published on 11 June, calls on attorneys in the department to institute civil proceedings to revoke a person’s United States citizenship if an individual either “illegally procured” naturalization or procured naturalization by “concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation”.
At the center of the move are the estimated 25 million US citizens who immigrated to the country after being born abroad, according to data from 2023
The directive gives justice department attorneys wider discretion on when to pursue denaturalization, including in instances of lying on immigration forms, cases where there is financial fraud or medical fraud against the US or against private individuals; and cases referred by a US attorney’s office or in connection with pending criminal charges.

So basically this makes immigrants 2nd class citizens.
Even someone who has become a naturalized "citizen" is being made only a "partial citizen" with limited citizenship rights that can be revoked at any time.
I wonder how many naturalized citizens voted for Trump?

No, it doesn't say that. There are specific crimes. Yes, I'm ok with it. Why do you feel compelled to attempt to falsely portray it? Are you corrupt or just dishonest?

No it doesn't apply to only specific crimes. Several specific crimes are listed, but then at the end it says "or any case referred by the US attorney's office or in connection with pending criminal charges". So they can deport any naturalized citizen for any crime, and they can apply this policy to ANY naturalized citizen with pending criminal charges. They only need to charge you - no conviction needed to revoke your citizenship.

There’s a chorus of people calling for this approach, a right-wing push that was invigorated with Zohran Mamdani’s come-from-behind victory in the New York City Democratic mayoral primary. Mamdani was born in Uganda and naturalized in 2018. Rep. Andy Ogles (R-KY) asked the DOJ last week to review denaturalizing Mamdani over a rap he performed that praised a non-profit whose leaders were convicted in 2008 on charges related to supporting Hamas. President Trump himself said on Tuesday that “a lot of people are saying [Mamdani] is here illegally.”
In a statement, the DOJ told TPM that “denaturalization proceedings will only be pursued as permitted by law and supported by evidence against individuals who illegally procured or misrepresented facts in the naturalization process.”
“Those who gain citizenship through unlawful means and endanger our national security will not maintain the benefits of being an American citizen,” the statement reads.

Zohran Mamdani has admitted support for a terrorist organization but did not do so on his immigration forms.
This alone is enough to revoke his citizenship.
