They took civilians hostage.

They killed the civilians they couldn't take hostage in cold blood, shooting many execution style.

Israel isn't blameless (there's plenty of blame to go around) but that doesn't mean they need to give up safety and security indefinitely because some over-educated US libbie thinks they should.

That's right - the status quo is untenable.  Israel has won this debate - there will be no "Palestine."  The world needs to move on, and the "Palestinians" need to move someplace else.  Preferably that is somewhere else in the Middle East, but just like the Israelis, no one wants a bunch of Palis around (they are the negurs of the ME - dumb, violent, and useless).

So what is the downside?
