Why don’t they put federal issues up for a vote, let voters chip in anonymously?
Like anchor babies. Why not add the question to a ballot? If it’s cuz nobody wants automatic citizenship for illegals at birth, why not do what The People want?
If my podunk town can add various questions to the ballot for stupid shyt why can’t we also vote on important national shyt?

When I was about 13, I recall brainstorming ways that we could implement a national referendum system. I was thinking that most people had a cable box at that time and perhaps it could be the platform to build on. At the time, however, I realized there was no way, technically, to ensure electoral integrity.
At least now we have the tech.
