Hex Rules

Hex is a strategy connection game. Two players take turns placing stones on a rhombus-shaped hex grid.

Blue (Player 1) tries to connect the left edge to the right edge with an unbroken chain.

Red (Player 2) tries to connect the top edge to the bottom edge.

Once placed, stones cannot be moved. There are no draws in Hex — one player must always win when the board is full.

The first player has a slight advantage. This version uses the swap rule: after Blue's first move, Red can choose to swap (take that move instead).
